Kitty is a luxury, large front row beach hut, directly on the sand - a little sanctuary by the sea at West Mersea. Her striking red and white stripes and raised decking ensure she stands out from all the rest.

She has interior glass doors so a day at the beach can still be enjoyed in cooler weather. There is a back opening window and solar panel for lighting and phone charging. Also a well equipped kitchenette with gas stove and kettle (hot drinks are provided). Kitty has everything you could need for a day at the beach, including buckets and spades and other toys and games.

Deckchairs, parasols and windbreaks are also available.

Kitty can have a maximum of six people, in and out of the hut including babies and children.

The Little Beach Hut Company also offers hire at our three other front row beach huts Peggy, Lottie and Bertie.
Kitty is on Victoria Esplanade, located towards the children's playground end of the car park.

Walk along the footpath at the side of the playground and look for beach hut numbers 468 and 469.

Walk between these two huts and Kitty is the red and white striped hut, number 175 right in front
of you (numbers are on the back of each hut).

The hut is accessed via sand so is unsuitable for wheelchair users.

Gas is provided in all huts.

There is no running water or electricity in the huts but we do provide water for washing up. We do suggest that people bring their own drinking water and there are also fresh water taps nearby and a dispenser available in the hut.
