Located in the Tankerton East section near Tankerton Sailing Club, our hut sits front row
beneath 74 Marine Parade, Whitstable, CT5 2BB. You'll find us at number 29.

Seating & Layout
• Inside: Comfortably seats 6 inside
• Veranda: Seats up to 8 for lunch using the veranda (max 8 guests)
• Accessibility: Step-free access makes it ideal for wheelchair users, prams, and
anyone who finds steps challenging.

Comfort & Leisure
• One cushioned bench, four wicker chairs
• Eight folding beach chairs, two sun loungers
• Two folding deck tables, one indoor table
• Books, binoculars, playing cards, blankets, buckets and spades
• Glass windows behind shutters – enjoy the view in any weather!

Getting There
• Parking: Free and unrestricted along Marine Parade – just a 1-minute walk up the hill
from the hut
• Walk: 15-20 minutes from Whitstable along the promenade
• Bus: 5-minute ride from Whitstable; stop is a 4-minute walk from the hut
• Train: 20-minute walk from Whitstable Station

Good to Know
• Available daily 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM only
• Dog friendly beach - can be off lead all year round on our section
• Strictly no overnight stays and no BBQS
• Intended for quiet enjoyment – perfect for families and friends (Max 8 people)
• Thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests
• Fire extinguisher and fire blanket provided in case of emergencies

What’s Included
• Cooking: Two-ring gas burner and grill
• Dining: Bright melamine picnic ware – plates, bowls, wine glasses, champagne flutes,
cutlery
• Kitchen essentials: Saucepans, frying pans, kettle, teapot, washing-up items
• Pantry basics: Tea, coffee, salt, vinegar, etc.
• Water: Large water canister, freshly topped up


Additional Information

Please note the beach hut is for the quiet enjoyment of families and friends, and is available only from 9.30-5.30. Absolutely NO overnight stays.

The beach hut is thoroughly cleaned and antibaced between guests and covid handgel is provided.

Fire extinguisher and fire blanket to hand.
